History

Our company was founded in August of
1983 with the opening of our Glendale store.
To date, we now operate 22 stores between
our 3 concepts all located within California
and Arizona. Our business has been built
with the simple philosophy of providing
customers with superior service, an
outstanding selection,value for the money,
and uncompromising quality. This
combination equals a very pleasant
shopping experience for our customers and
a loyal customer base for our stores.

What We Do

Group Nine Associates, Inc. is a retail
shoe company specializing in both men's
and women's comfort shoes. Our dba's
include J.Stephens, with 14 locations
between Arizona and California, as well
as Rockport and Ecco brand concept
stores. As a company from the president
to the salespeople, we strive to maintain a
reputation for having the best in customer
service, with courteous and
knowledgeable salespeople that will go
the extra mile to satisfy a customer. The
more we succeed, the more we grow, the
